⁸ The angel said to her, “Hagar, slave of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She answered, “I am running away from my mistress Sarai.”

⁹ The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress and be obedient to her.” ¹⁰ The angel of the Lord continued, “I will multiply the number of your descendants so much that you will not be able to count them.”
